Neasc accreditation

NEASC LogoEast Hartford High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC), a non-governmental, nationally recognized organization whose affiliated institutions include elementary schools through collegiate institutions offering postgraduate instruction.  Accreditation of an institution by the NEASC indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality periodically applied through a peer group review process. An accredited school or college is one which has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purpose through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Institutional integrity is also addressed through accreditation.

Student Learning Expectations

Core to any successful systemic practice is a shared understanding of language, priority and expectation.
This site serves as a resource for students, families, and staff as a means of collective understanding in the system,
process, and products within the NEASC and accreditation at EHHS.    Student Learning Expectations (SLEs) will
continue to be an embedded practice and component of assessing student progress and achievement within
individual course and graduation requirements.  These can be found below as well as in the letters to parents (attached above).
