Citing or giving credit to your sources is very important!  You need to cite where you got your information, as well as pictures or videos that you used in presentations.  This allows your readers to:

  • go to the sources you used to read them or use them for further research
  • gives credit to the individuals who created/produced the information you used
  • protects you from plagerism - being accused of using other's information/creations without permission
