Grade 8 - What do you need to start thinking about as you enter HS regarding your plans for post-secondary education or jobs? What is financial Aide? What do you want in a college? Why start thinking about it now? Lets do a college search!

The School Guidance and Counseling Department at East Hartford Middle School works collaboratively to assist all students in achieving their maximum potential in academic, career, and personal domains.
Counselors encourage awareness and exploration of student interests through departmental initiatives and community outreach. We facilitate the development of positive choice and decision making skills, in order to enable all students to succeed in their educational and personal lives.

EHPS has recently transitioned to Power School. We are excited about the new opportunities and resources it will bring to our students and families. Please sign up for your power school account and download the app.
Power School's Parent Portal will assist students and families with increased communication with EHMS, easy access to grades and attendance, as well as keep families informed about student progress and performance.
If you are having trouble accessing Power School or your account, please let your student's counselor know. We are here to help.
